Kia India has expanded the Carens Clavis MPV lineup by introducing automatic transmission options to lower-tier trim levels. Both the 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) paired with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and the 6-speed torque-converter automatic paired with the 1.5-litre diesel engine are now available in more affordable trims, significantly lowering the entry price for an automatic Carens Clavis.

- Cheapest Automatic Variant: The HTE (O) 1.5 Turbo-Petrol DCT is now the entry point to the automatic Carens Clavis range, priced at ₹14.67 lakh (ex-showroom).
- Diesel Automatic Accessibility: The HTE (O) trim now also offers the 1.5 Diesel AT option at ₹15.82 lakh (ex-showroom).
- HTE (EX) DCT: The mid-lower HTE (EX) trim gains the 1.5 Turbo-Petrol DCT powertrain option, priced at ₹15.22 lakh (ex-showroom).

To distinguish these automatic variants from their manual counterparts, Kia has added a dedicated Automatic Pack equipment kit to the HTE (O) and HTE (EX) automatic trims:
