Lexus has just rolled out the all-new ES 350h in India, with prices kicking off at Rs 66.10 lakh and topping out at Rs 71.80 lakh (ex-showroom). This strong-hybrid sedan now sits alongside the all-electric ES 500e, which had already gone on sale back in March, giving the Lexus ES lineup in India a proper mix of electrified powertrains to choose from. Bookings for the new ES 350h have opened from today.

Built on Toyota’s TNGA GA-K platform, this eighth-generation ES brings a completely reworked design both inside and out, and, like its electric sibling, it’s assembled locally in India.

Lexus ES 350h Variants and Pricing

The ES 350h comes in two trims, Exquisite and Luxury, and is powered by a 244hp, 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder strong-hybrid powertrain. Here’s how the full Lexus ES range is priced in India:

VariantPrice (Ex-showroom)
ES 350h ExquisiteRs 66.10 lakh
ES 350h LuxuryRs 71.80 lakh
ES 500eRs 89.99 lakh

The hybrid variants undercut the fully electric ES 500e by a fair margin — even the range-topping Luxury hybrid trim comes in Rs 18.19 lakh cheaper than the 500e. For context, the previous-generation ES 350h was priced between Rs 64 lakh and Rs 69.70 lakh (ex-showroom), so the new-generation hybrid sedan is up by Rs 2.10 lakh over its predecessor.

Lexus ES 350h: Powertrain and Performance

Under the bonnet, the new ES 350h runs a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder strong-hybrid petrol engine paired with an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (e-CVT). On its own, the naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 186hp and 235Nm of torque, while the electric motor — fed by a dedicated battery pack — can put out 201hp and 270Nm by itself. Combined, the hybrid system produces a total of 244hp, and Lexus quotes a 0-100kph time of 7.7 seconds for the new ES.

Lexus ES 350h: Exterior Design

The 2026 Lexus ES’s exterior styling follows what Lexus calls its ‘Provocative Simplicity’ design philosophy, a look first previewed on the LF-ZC concept. It’s a bold design language, blending a cliff-face nose with a coupe-style roofline and sharp, angular creases across the bodywork. Rather than the brand’s signature Spindle Grille, the front end gets a sealed-off look, with ‘twin L-signature’ daytime running lights forming a key visual element. Blacked-out vertical panels sit at the edges of the front bumper, housing the LED headlights.

Along the side, a rising belt line is paired with a striking Z-shaped trim piece running across the doors. Round the back, the same ‘twin L-signature’ lamp motif reappears at the edges of the rear bumper, joined by a connected LED light bar with ‘Lexus’ lettering sitting centrally. A fastback-style sloping roofline adds a sportier edge to the overall silhouette.

Notably, there’s no visual distinction between the hybrid ES 350h and the electric ES 500e — both share the same design. Against the outgoing model, the new ES has grown by 170mm in length, 55mm in width and 130mm in height, while the wheelbase has stretched by 80mm.

Lexus ES 350h: Interior and Features

Inside, Lexus has gone with what it describes as a “Clean Tech x Elegance” design concept, aimed at making the cabin feel more open and spacious. The dashboard layout is clean and pared-back, dominated by a floating 14-inch touchscreen, with very few physical buttons or switches in sight. Instead, proximity-sensing controls on the panel below the touchscreen and on the steering wheel light up as soon as a hand approaches. Even the speaker grilles and 3D-printed door panels get LED illumination, adding a more modern feel to the cabin. A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, housed in a hooded binnacle, completes the tech-forward dashboard.

On the equipment front, the new ES 350h gets a Mark Levinson premium sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and two wireless phone chargers. Other highlights include powered front seats with heating and ventilation, 3-zone climate control, a head-up display, a digital rear-view mirror (IRVM), multi-colour ambient lighting, rear window sunshades and a power-operated boot lid.

Safety kit is equally comprehensive, with radar-guided adaptive cruise control, lane-change assist, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive high-beam assist and a driver drowsiness monitor all on the list. The new Lexus ES also comes with 10 airbags, a 360-degree surround-view camera system, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, hill-hold assist, electronic stability control and parking sensors all round.
