MG SELECT, the luxury division of JSW MG Motor India, has expanded its electric vehicle ownership options by launching its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model for both the MG Cyberster and MG M9. The introductory offering aims to give premium buyers greater flexibility and choice when making the switch to high-end electric mobility.
Under the new ownership scheme, the MG Cyberster EV starts at a BaaS price of ₹72.49 lakh, alongside a battery rental fee of ₹8.00 per km. Meanwhile, the luxury MG M9 EV comes in with a BaaS starting price of ₹69.99 lakh, paired with the same ₹8.00 per km battery rental rate.
The inclusion of both models under BaaS allows MG SELECT to provide a more adaptable entry point into its luxury lineup without compromising on performance, high-end comfort, or technology.
MG Cyberster: Electric Performance Meets Roadster Style
Drawing inspiration from the iconic MGB Roadster, the MG Cyberster delivers a fresh, high-performance take on the classic two-seater sports car:
- Design Highlights: Electric scissor doors, a low-slung stance, and cockpit-inspired seating.
- Powertrain & Output: Powered by a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive system delivering 510 PS and 725 Nm of torque.

MG M9: Executive Luxury MPV
Designed with executive transport in mind, the MG M9 focuses heavily on high-end cabin luxury and passenger convenience:
