The upcoming iteration retains the trusty body-on-frame IMV platform of the outgoing model, but it brings a sharper look and updated cabin technology to the table.
Bold New Styling and Off-Road Cues
The preview showcases the pickup finished in a eye-catching bright orange/bronze shade. Up front, the new Hilux makes its presence known with a fresh fascia:
- Aggressive Front End: A silver skid plate sits at the bottom, paired with a honeycomb centre grille.
- Retro Branding: Instead of the standard badge, blocky ‘TOYOTA’ lettering sits on a black trim piece between sleek LED headlamps.
- Rugged Accents: Black wheel arches, dark rims, roll bars mounted behind the cab, and a roof-mounted shark-fin antenna are all subtly visible.
While the rear wasn’t fully detailed in the teaser, international-spec versions feature prominent ‘TOYOTA’ lettering across the tailgate, vertical LED tail-lamps, and an integrated step in the rear bumper for easy bed access.

For the Indian market, Toyota is expected to stick with the practical Double Cab configuration.
