Royal Enfield has officially rolled out Season 6 of its renowned creative platform, #ArtofMotorcycling (AOM), sporting an exciting new retro 16-bit gaming angle dubbed “Game Mode On”. What kicked off in 2020 as a grassroots project has expanded into a massive worldwide movement, giving illustrators, designers, photographers, and passionate creatives a dedicated arena to share their love for the two-wheeled lifestyle.
This latest edition expands the creative playing field to 13 distinct regions: India, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and the UK. With the UK making its official debut this year, the competition marks a significant step forward by bringing its creative community onto European soil for the first time.
The core brief for #ArtofMotorcycling Season 6 challenges entrants to view motorcycling through the nostalgic lens of classic video games. Treating sheer creativity as the ultimate cheat code, artists are tasked with imagining themselves and their motorcycle as the main characters of an adventure, designing an original cover packed with pixelated horizons, uncharted stages, and the raw soundtrack of the tarmac.
From its initial launch in 2020 through to today, the #ArtOfMotorcycling movement has accumulated over 150,000 registrations. While it began by championing Indian talent, the initiative went international in 2024 across the APAC and LATAM regions. Reaching 13 countries today, the platform continues to build momentum across international design and motorcycling circles.
To nurture creativity at every age, the 2026 competition features two focused categories:
- The Adults Edition (Global): Open to creators and illustrators across India, APAC, LATAM, North America, and the UK. Both digital designs and hand-drawn entries are eligible. Submissions go through an initial regional shortlisting before advancing to the international stage. Final honours will include a Global Winners category alongside a Riders’ Choice award, which hands voting power straight to the community on social media.
- The Kids Edition (India Only): Tailored specifically to support younger creators, this tier gives budding artists in India their own dedicated platform to interpret the brief strictly using hand-drawn work.
Once country- and regional-level entries are narrowed down, a panel of international judges will review the shortlist, while community voting decides the Riders’ Choice winners. Ultimately, the top seven creators across regions will land an all-expenses-paid trip to Royal Enfield’s annual Motoverse 2026 gathering in Goa (scheduled for 27–29 November), where their winning artwork will be featured on exclusive #ArtofMotorcycling apparel.
