Following in the footsteps of its other SUV siblings, the Tata Sierra Dark Edition brings a moody, blacked-out cosmetic package to the popular model, commanding a modest premium over standard variants.
The announcement reveals that the new DARK package is available across 23 distinct trim and powertrain combinations, starting from the Pure L trim level right up to the flagship Accomplished+ variant.
What Does the Sierra Dark Edition Cost?
The Dark Edition package adds an extra Rs 20,000 to Rs 35,000 to the price tag compared to standard Sierra models:
- Pure L manual versions: Carry a Rs 20,000 premium.

In just a matter of days, Tata expanded the Sierra range from its original 26 variants by adding 39 new options—taking the total lineup to a staggering 65 variants across 18 distinct trim and edition names:

Exterior and Interior Design Updates
On the outside, the Sierra Dark Edition comes finished in a distinctive Friesian Black paint shade as standard. Tata has replaced most of the brightwork and chrome accents with dark-toned trim pieces, paired with darkened alloy wheels and blacked-out Tata emblems. To complete the look, the SUV wears signature ‘#DARK’ badging on the front fenders.
Stepping inside, the cabin features a new Violet Eclipse theme with black leatherette upholstery, metallic violet trim accents, and purple chrome detailing across areas like the air conditioning vent bezels, door handles, front armrest, and front seatbacks—finished off with purple stitching on the seats.
