Tata Motors has pulled the wraps off the Sierra Jubilee Edition, marking the milestone of 50,000 units of the new Sierra having found homes since launch. The Jubilee Edition has been revealed across the Smart+, Pure and Adventure trims, and depending on which trim buyers pick, it brings in accessories from the Sierra’s ROQ range, plus a handful of features not otherwise offered on those variants. Official pricing for the Sierra Jubilee Edition hasn’t been announced yet. For context, the current-generation Sierra was launched by Tata Motors back in November last year, with deliveries kicking off in January.
Tata Sierra Jubilee Edition: Trim-Wise Details
Smart+ (Rs 11.49 lakh–12.99 lakh)
On the entry-level Sierra Smart+, the Jubilee Edition throws in front grille and tailgate cladding, roof rails, semi-leatherette seat covers with Jubilee Edition branding, a 4-speaker audio system, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a rear-view camera.
Pure (Rs 12.99 lakh–15.99 lakh)
Step up to the Sierra Pure trim, and the Jubilee Edition adds cladding across the front grille, tailgate and wheel arches, along with roof rails, semi-leatherette seat covers, a leatherette steering wheel cover, magnetic sunshades, a parcel tray, and both front and rear dash cameras.
Adventure (Rs 15.29 lakh–16.79 lakh)
For those going in for the mid-spec Sierra Adventure Jubilee Edition, Tata is offering the full ROQ styling kit along with front and rear dash cameras.
Tata Sierra Powertrains
The regular Sierra range continues to be offered with three engine options. There’s a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit producing 160hp and 255Nm, paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Alongside that sits a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine putting out 106hp and 145Nm, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. Rounding things off is a 1.5-litre diesel engine that makes 118hp, offered with a 6-speed manual (260Nm) or a 6-speed automatic (280Nm).
Tata Sierra Price and Rivals
Tata’s midsize SUV is priced between Rs 11.49 lakh and Rs 21.29 lakh, and it goes up against a packed field that includes the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Renault Duster and more. With the new Jubilee Edition now added to the Smart+, Pure and Adventure trims, the Sierra line-up looks set to keep pulling in buyers as Tata builds on the model’s early sales momentum.
