TVS Raider Updated with Traction Control

TVS Motor Company has updated its TVS Raider line up with advanced safety equipment. The TVS Raider TFT DD and TVS Raider SXC DD variants to bring high-end, rider-focused technology to everyday commuters. The highlight of the update is the addition of a Traction Control System (TCS), marking a first for the 125cc motorcycle category. The system is built to help riders retain control when the rear wheel slips on loose gravel, wet roads, or sudden potholes. Alongside TCS, the bike now gets an Emergency Brake Warning system, which alerts drivers and riders trailing behind during sudden hard braking to help prevent rear-end collisions.

My Thoughts

“Introducing Traction Control System and Emergency Brake Warning on a 125cc commuter motorcycle is a brilliant move by TVS. In a market like India where unpredictable road conditions, loose gravel, and sudden monsoon showers are part of daily riding, having active safety tech like TCS on an affordable ₹1 lakh bike adds huge value in terms of rider safety. Add Dual Channel ABS and it would be perfect!”
