VinFast India Reaches 60 Dealerships Milestone with Opening of First 3S Outlet in Bihar

Global electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has reached a significant benchmark in its Indian expansion with the official launch of its 60th retail outlet nationwide. Operated by its subsidiary VinFast Auto India, the new site is the brand’s very first 3S (Sales, Service, and Spare Parts) facility in Bihar, marking a key milestone in its strategy to bring premium electric mobility to tier 2 and tier 3 cities alongside major metropolitan hubs.

The Patna facility has been set up in partnership with Patliputra Motors Private Limited, led by Mr Harsh Raj. Situated on NH-30, Bypass Road, Paijawa—a primary arterial route in Patna—the dealership provides easy access and high visibility for local customers and those traveling from across the broader region.

Built in accordance with VinFast’s global retail guidelines, the comprehensive 11,500 sq. ft. dealership integrates sales, after-sales service, and continuous customer care under a single roof.

  • Showroom Space: Features a contemporary 3,000 sq. ft. showroom where visitors can explore VinFast’s electric vehicle range alongside specialized sales and support staff.
  • Service & Support: Serves as a single destination designed to handle the full ownership lifecycle, covering initial discovery, purchasing, routine maintenance, and long-term care.

This landmark opening comes precisely one year after VinFast launched its first showroom in India, highlighting its rapid expansion across eastern India and the broader national market.

Expanding Across India’s Emerging EV Markets

The Patna opening reflects VinFast’s deliberate strategy to broaden its reach beyond tier 1 metropolitan centres and establish a footprint in rapidly growing gateway markets. With Patna serving as an entry point to Bihar and eastern India, the brand aims to make its premium electric vehicles accessible to a wider demographic.

VinFast remains on track to reach a network of 75 dealerships across more than 60 cities by the end of 2026.

Commenting on the inauguration, Mr Tapan Ghosh, CEO of VinFast India, stated:

“We are delighted to mark the milestone of 60 dealerships in India while establishing VinFast’s presence in Bihar for the first time. This marks an important step in our growth journey and opens up new opportunities in a promising market in eastern India. VinFast remains committed to building a strong retail and after-sales network and accelerating the adoption of green mobility across the country.”
