New Jawa 42 All Stars Launched - Modern Classic Range Completed with 60+ Upgrades

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has rolled out the all-new Jawa 42, delivering “Strike Three” to officially complete its All Stars line-up just in time for the festive rush. Joining the previously launched 42 FJ and 42 Bobber, this latest arrival marks the most comprehensive evolution to date of the machine that originally helped kick-start India’s modern classic segment back in 2018.

Connecting all three bikes is the shared All Stars code of character, conduct, and courage—an ethos visible through bespoke star motifs and insignia across the range. While the 42 FJ leans into a sporty, contemporary direction and the 42 Bobber caters to pure individualism, the evolved Jawa 42 stands tall as the flagship roadster tying the trio together.

Pricing, Colour Options, and Deliveries

Pricing for the Jawa 42 All Stars starts at Rs 1,79,942 (ex-showroom, Delhi), with the line-up spread across six distinct paint finishes:

  • Jawa 42 Black and Ivory: Rs 1,79,942
  • Jawa 42 All Stars Ivory: Rs 1,84,942
  • Jawa 42 All Stars Battle Green: Rs 1,84,942
  • Jawa 42 All Stars Moss Grey: Rs 1,84,942
  • Jawa 42 All Stars Nebula Blue: Rs 1,86,942
  • Jawa 42 All Stars Black: Rs 1,89,942

Official bookings are now open at Jawa Yezdi showrooms nationwide, with customer deliveries scheduled to kick off right as the festive period begins on 14 September 2026.

Sharper Styling and Upgraded Ergonomics

The new Jawa 42 All Stars commands significantly more presence on the road thanks to a broader, more muscular stance. Visual and functional updates include fresh side panels, a heavily reworked rear section, updated footpegs, a modern alloy wheel design, and compact upswept twin exhausts engineered to improve water-wading resilience.

At the back, a broader rear mudguard accommodates a meaty 150/70-17 rear tyre, while a 100/90-18 tyre takes care of steering duties up front. The sculpted seat—standing at 790 mm in standard height (with technical specifications rating overall seat height at 795 mm)—receives plusher cushioning while keeping the flat, bench-like profile familiar to the 42 nameplate. Crucial heritage cues remain intact, including the signature round headlamp, off-centre instrument cluster, and classic 13.2-litre fuel tank.

Behind the visible sheet metal lie more than 60 individual refinements. Classic Legends’ engineering team has tweaked overall mass, frame dynamics, and swingarm rigidity, sharpening handling and high-speed stability without blunting the bike’s effortless urban agility.

Reflecting on the launch, Classic Legends co-founder Anupam Thareja noted that the strongest communities are built around individuals who uphold principles of discipline, trust, and camaraderie even when nobody is watching. He highlighted that while the original Jawa 42 defined modern classics in India, the All Stars 42 honours that DNA by asking what the platform needs to deliver for today’s generation of riders.

Engine Specs and Hardware

Powering the modern classic is the liquid-cooled, 294.72 cc (294.7 cc) single-cylinder four-stroke J-Panther engine featuring a DOHC layout, electronic fuel injection, an 11:1 compression ratio, and a bore and stroke of 76 mm x 65 mm. Paired with a 6-speed constant-mesh gearbox, the motor delivers:

  • Maximum Power: 27.19 bhp (27.19) @ 7,950 rpm
  • Maximum Torque: 26.3 Nm @ 6,000 rpm

Underneath, a double-cradle frame sits on 35 mm telescopic front forks and twin gas-charged rear shock absorbers with adjustable preload. The bike tips the scales at a kerb weight of 175 kg, rides on a 1,369 mm wheelbase, and offers 173 mm of ground clearance. Braking duties are handled by a 280 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, backed by dual-channel ABS as standard equipment.
