India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd. (IKM) has unveiled the much-awaited 2026 Kawasaki Z1100, the top-tier model in Kawasaki’s naturally aspirated Supernaked family. Rocking the essence of Sugomi—which blends power, precision, and intensity—the Z1100 is all about delivering a thrilling riding experience with commanding presence and cutting-edge tech. Priced at ₹12,79,000 (Ex-Showroom India), the new Kawasaki Z1100 will hit dealerships from the end of November 2025.

Celebrating over 50 years of the legendary Z series (starting from the iconic 1972 Kawasaki Z1), the Z1100 carries forward the spirit of bold performance and sharp styling that set the global benchmark for motorcycles.

According to Mr. Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of IKM, the Z1100 sits atop Kawasaki’s Supernaked range, offering a unique mix of raw energy and a rider-machine connection. With its compact body, aggressive front design, flowing sharp lines, and modern tech like a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and LED lighting, it stays true to its fierce Z spirit.

Powered by a 1,099cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine, the Z1100 produces 136 PS at 9,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 7,600 rpm. It features a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch, an aluminium twin-tube frame, and premium suspension components including 41mm Showa inverted front forks and horizontal back-link rear suspension. Braking duties are handled by dual 310 mm front discs with radial-mount calipers and a 260 mm rear disc for impressive stopping power.

Designed for confidence and precision, the bike runs on Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tyres for excellent grip and stability. The Z1100’s ergonomics balance aggressive sportiness with everyday comfort, featuring a wider handlebar, sculpted fuel tank, knurled footpegs, and a seamless seat that fits both rider and pillion comfortably.
