SMK Helmets showed up big at India Bike Week 2025 in Panchgani, rolling out a fresh line-up of premium helmets and riding jackets tailored for Indian riders across city, touring, and performance segments. The brand, backed by Studds Accessories Ltd., the world’s largest two-wheeler helmet maker by volume in 2024, used the stage to introduce the new SMK Cygnus, the Delta City and Delta Tour demi-jet helmets, globally acclaimed Ares and Nova models, and a full range of CE Level A-certified riding jackets for summer and winter.

SMK Cygnus: Flip-Back Innovation with P/J Certification

The star of the show was the SMK Cygnus, a sophisticated flip-back helmet featuring a 180° rotating chin guard, allowing riders to switch seamlessly between full-face and open-face modes while changing riding posture and ergonomics to match cruisers or sporty tuck positions. It’s currently among the rare helmets in India with P/J certification, making it suitable for both configurations while maintaining high safety standards.

Cygnus uses an Energy Impact Resistant Thermoplastic (EIRT) shell combined with a multi-density EPS liner for enhanced impact absorption. It comes with:

  • Pinlock MaxVision 120 ready shield
  • Integrated sun visor
