Yezdi is back and has launched the 2025 Yezdi Roadster with prices starting at just ₹2.09 lakh.
The tagline says it all: Born Out of Line. This isn’t just another “retro” bike; it’s got attitude baked into its DNA. Think bold silhouettes, muscular tanks, a chopped rear fender, and Yezdi’s signature twin-barrel exhausts spitting those unmistakable pops and bangs. Oh, and those big ‘69’ decals? That’s a nod to the brand’s long and glorious riding history.
What’s new and notable on the recently launched 2025 Yezdi Roadster
- Updated Engine & Performance: The 2025 Roadster features an updated 334cc liquid-cooled Alpha-2 single-cylinder engine, now tuned for better refinement and everyday usability, producing about 29 PS and 30 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and comes equipped with a slip-and-assist clutch, which is rare in this segment. For the curious, Yes! This is the new Alpha2 engine that we saw on the Jawa 42 FJ, but with tweaks to suit the roadster expectations and experience.
- Refined Suspension: While it retains the dual-cradle frame, the suspension setup has been retuned for improved comfort on Indian roads, making the ride plusher compared to its predecessor.
- Seat Height & Ergonomics: The seat height has been slightly increased to 795mm, which should offer an even more comfortable touring posture. The model also retains its relaxed, center-forward footpeg position.
- Design Tweaks: The latest Roadster now sports a more bobber-like look, with a chopped rear fender and swingarm-mounted number-plate holder. There’s also a redesigned tail-lamp and new modular split seat setup, allowing quick conversion between solo and dual-seat configs. The new Faravahar insignia on the fuel tank is a fresh premium touch celebrating Yezdi’s Parsi heritage.
- More Customisation: Riders can now choose from six factory custom kits and over 200 plug-and-play accessories—handlebars, backrests, crash guards, visors, and more, allowing for deep personalisation straight from the showroom.
- Brakes & Safety: The bike continues to set the benchmark in its class with a dual-channel ABS system from Continental, plus substantial 320mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes for confident stopping.
- Warranty & Ownership: A standout in its category—a standard 4-year/50,000km warranty, now extendable up to six years, and a year of free roadside assistance. Yezdi’s ownership program is designed for peace of mind over the long-term ownership experience.
- Variants & Colours: The 2025 Roadster comes in two main variants: Standard (with bold colour options like Sharkskin Blue, Smoke Grey, Bloodrush Maroon, Savage Green) and Premium (Shadow Black, with matte and exclusive trims). There are also six factory-custom kits with 50+ combination options.
- Tyre & Wheel Updates: The rear tyre has been made wider than before to enhance grip and lend the bike a beefier stance.
- Digital Cluster & Features: Retains features such as the digital instrument cluster and adds tweaks for better info and usability.

A Roadster That’s All About You
Bikes in this segment have a certain formula — and Yezdi seems to have torn it up. Riders can choose from six factory custom kits with 50+ combo options, plus over 20 plug-and-play accessories to make the bike truly theirs. Want a solo bobber-style saddle on weekdays and a touring-ready dual-seat setup for the weekend? Switch it up in minutes. From handlebars and visors to crash guards and touring racks, the Roadster wants you to keep personalising it.
The Engine That Means BusinessAt the heart of it is Yezdi’s new 350 Alpha2 liquid-cooled engine, pushing out 29PS and 30Nm. Mated to a first-in-class 6-speed gearbox with an assist & slipper clutch, it’s built for both city bursts and long-haul rides. Pair that with a 12.5L fuel tank and a touring-friendly 350+ km range — and suddenly those weekend getaways look a lot easier.
Engineered for Comfort & ControlTo keep things comfy without losing the sporty edge, Yezdi’s gone for centre-forward footpegs for a relaxed rider triangle, a manageable 795mm seat height, and a ride setup tuned for both stability and agility. Braking is taken care of by best-in-class dual-channel ABS from Continental with 320mm discs up front and 240mm at the rear. Suspension? Telescopic forks in the front and dual shocks at the back to tackle rough patches in style.
