- Domestic Market: On the home front, two-wheeler sales saw a steady 9% rise. Bajaj sold 2,09,528 motorbikes and scooters locally this month, up from the 1,91,412 units recorded in the same period last year.
- Exports Market: The real star of the show was the export sector, which skyrocketed by 30%. Bajaj shipped 1,83,676 two-wheelers abroad in May 2026, a substantial leap from the 1,40,958 units exported in May 2025.
Commercial Vehicles Boom on All Fronts
It was an even more dramatic story for Bajaj’s commercial vehicles segment, which clocked an overall sub-total growth of 30%. In total, they moved 68,053 commercial units this month compared to 52,251 in May 2025.
- Domestic Market: Local demand for commercial vehicles stayed strong, posting a 12% increase. Sales went up from 34,321 units last year to 38,503 units in May 2026.

The commercial vehicle YTD numbers are flying with a 42% overall jump, reaching 1,41,892 units against last year’s 1,00,124 units. Domestically, they grew 16% (76,650 vs 66,321 units), while YTD commercial exports nearly doubled with a staggering 93% explosion (65,242 vs 33,803 units).
