Back in 2001, the global scooter market was completely turned on its head by a fresh vehicle boasting a seriously eye-catching design and brilliant performance. Thanks to a chassis and suspension setup straight out of the motorcycle world, it delivered top-tier handling and control. This was the grand debut of the Piaggio Beverly—a machine that completely revolutionised urban mobility by introducing a motorbike-style layout, lifting the entire scooter scene to unseen levels of performance, comfort, safety, and pure fun.
Fast forward to today, and this iconic crossover is celebrating a massive milestone: its 25th anniversary. Backed by an incredible commercial track record of over half a million units sold across more than fifty countries, the brand is marking the occasion with a brand-new celebratory version called the Piaggio Beverly 25th Anniversary. It is the only scooter on the market that beautifully blends the sheer agility and road-holding of a high-wheel model with the luxurious comfort and performance of a big Grand Tourer (GT).
When it comes to power, the 310 cc single-cylinder engine pumps out 27.7 HP along with a generous amount of torque, ensuring a punchy yet beautifully smooth and progressive pickup during the constant slowing down and restarting of typical city traffic. Meanwhile, the top-tier 400 cc version cranks out a maximum power of 35.9 HP and a maximum torque of 37.7 Nm. When you pair those figures with its motorcycle-spec chassis, you get a machine that is completely in a league of its own for outright performance and sportiness.
This anniversary model is up for grabs in both of the range’s engine options. Pricing (which includes VAT) is set at 6,050 Euros (Rs 6.7L) for the 310 variant and 7,050 Euros (Rs 7.8L) for the larger 400 version, and they are arriving in Piaggio showrooms right now.

This special edition kit reinterprets the most distinctive features of the original 2001 model, seamlessly blending them with the aggressive and sporty look of the latest-generation line. Taking direct inspiration from its silver jubilee, the scooter gets a dedicated colour scheme called “Grigio 25th Anniversary”—a brand-new dark grey shade with a matte metallic finish. This stylish livery is perfectly complemented by light grey graphics that sweep across the entire vehicle, running all the way from the rear side panels right up to the front mudguard. To top it off, a smoked top fairing (or flyscreen) comes as standard, paying direct homage to a standout feature of the very first model.
The sporty attitude of the Piaggio Beverly 25th Anniversary is dialled up even further with contrasting glossy black finishes on the passenger grab handle and the headlight surround. Eye-catching gold accents also pop out on the graphics, the frame of the central shield grille, and the distinctive “Beverly” badge itself. Even the wheels are finished in glossy black, featuring neat gold and grey detailing on the rims.
Riders will also sit on a dedicated, dual-material saddle with a perforated texture, which is beautifully enhanced by refined double stitching that mirrors the bike’s black and gold accents. Pop around to the back of the front shield, and you will spot a dedicated “25th Anniversary” badge, proudly finished with the Italian tricolour flag to mark it out as a true special edition.
