The latest from TVS Motor Company is quite exciting and not a 2 wheeler — they’ve partnered with Swiss startup Aegis Rider to showcase a groundbreaking AR Heads-Up Display (HUD) helmet at EICMA 2025 in Milan. This helmet, branded with TVS, uses advanced AR technology and spatial anchoring to project real-time information directly in the rider’s line of sight, helping them stay focused on the road without distraction.
The helmet features a binocular AR glass and µOLED projector integrated within a tough carbon fiber shell, with adaptive brightness and anti-glare capabilities to ensure clarity in any lighting conditions. Powered by a Qualcomm processor and equipped with a 7,000 mAh rechargeable battery, it offers up to four hours of continuous use, wirelessly connecting to bike infotainment systems and smartphones. Riders can access navigation, call and message alerts, music control, and even record their rides with an on-board 5MP action camera. Plus, it meets global safety standards including ECE 22.06 and DOT.

This innovation is part of TVS’s broader push towards smarter, connected mobility solutions and was showcased in the TVS Connect zone, highlighting how AR technology can transform everyday riding experience. Visitors to EICMA can see live demonstrations on the TVS RTR 310 motorcycle, emphasizing how this tech blends safety, connectivity, and performance, all in one headgear.
Simon Hecker, CEO of Aegis Rider, explained that this tech anchors key information in space ahead of the rider, reducing distraction and improving safety. The helmet can project navigation cues, vehicle speed, hazard alerts, and call notifications, all visible without looking down. For future updates, the system will include vehicle-to-everything (V2X) connectivity and cloud ride data analysis, further pushing the boundaries of smart motorcycling.
