Ultraviolette F77 owner Harish Surampade has just hit an incredible milestone: 1,00,000 km in only 17 months of riding. Even more impressive, his F77’s battery still holds 96% health after all those kilometres, turning this into a huge real-world win for Indian EV engineering and long-distance electric touring.

Harish’s ride story is wild by any standard. Over this journey, he’s taken the F77 through some of the harshest and most varied conditions possible, riding in temperatures from –15°C in high-altitude zones all the way up to 48°C in peak summer heat—a massive 63°C swing. In one of the toughest stints, he knocked out 613 km in 24 hours, proving that the F77 isn’t just a city commuter but a serious touring machine.

From Ultraviolette’s side, this milestone is a major validation of the F77’s battery tech. The pack retaining 96% capacity after 1,00,000+ km shows how well its high energy density, thermal management, and energy control systems hold up over time, even with constant fast touring. Co-founder & CEO Narayan Subramaniam calls this a turning point for electric touring, showing that long-distance EV rides across cities, borders, highways and high passes are no longer experimental—they’re very much real. Co-founder & CTO Niraj Rajmohan adds that this kind of durability and consistency is exactly what the F77 battery was engineered for.

Harish’s journey has taken him across nine international borders and through everything from mountain passes and forests to highways and coastal stretches, stress-testing both rider and machine. On top of the technical and endurance bragging rights, there’s a big financial upside too: over 17 months, he’s estimated to have saved about ₹4,59,009 in fuel costs. For anyone still wondering whether electric motorcycles can handle serious touring, this F77 story answers that in one line: yes—and with range, reliability, and savings to back it up.
