Ducati India has unleashed the all-new XDiavel V4, a Sport Cruiser that fuses MotoGP-derived V4 performance with cruiser comfort and stunning Italian design. Completely redesigned for better ergonomics and touring, this beast is now available in India in two exclusive colours: Burning Red at ₹30,88,700 and Black Lava at ₹31,19,700 (both ex-showroom).
A Cruiser Reimagined with V4 Muscle
The XDiavel V4 applies Ducati’s unique Sport Cruiser philosophy, blending raw power from its 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine with a relaxed riding position and seductive styling. This engine — derived from the Desmosedici Stradale in the Panigale V4 and Streetfighter V4 — pumps out 168 hp and a massive 12.8 kgm torque at 7,500 rpm, delivering explosive acceleration (0-100 km/h in under 3 seconds) and surprising agility for a cruiser.
The counter-rotating crankshaft (like Ducati’s MotoGP bikes) cuts gyroscopic effects for nimbler handling, while the Twin Pulse firing order and dedicated exhaust create a signature sound that shifts between 2- and 4-cylinder modes. Plus, it’s practical: major maintenance at 60,000 km, efficient fuel economy, and a cylinder deactivation system for low-load riding.
Bipul Chandra, Managing Director, Ducati India, called it a boundary-pusher: “The XDiavel V4 delivers thrilling performance, low-end torque, and agility in a comfortable cruiser package. That single-sided swingarm and rear wheel are my favourite design elements.”

Bold Design and Rider Comfort
From the muscular tank to the four-exit exhaust, the XDiavel V4 screams presence with supercar-inspired shapes. The Burning Red and Black Lava finishes catch light beautifully, paired with signature full-LED lights (double C DRL and dynamic indicators) and a “Welcome Effect” dashboard animation.
Comfort upgrades include:
- Low 770 mm seat height
- Rear suspension travel increased by 25 mm
- Wider (+30%) and longer (+50%) passenger seat with 25 mm extra thickness and standard grab handle
- Handlebar set back and lowered for easier handling
- Optional footpeg kit for sportier positioning and tail fairing for single-seater look
The 229 kg kerb weight (6 kg lighter than the 1260 S) comes from smart engineering, including a 50 mm inverted fork and cantilever shock (both fully adjustable).
Braking and Chassis That Punch Above Weight
The 330 mm front discs with Brembo Stylema calipers deliver racing-level deceleration (11.5 m/s²), backed by refined ABS calibration for safety in all conditions. The 240/45 rear tyre and dedicated gearing ensure thrust and control.
Electronics Suite for Total Control
A 6-axis IMU powers the advanced aids:
- 6 Riding Modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, Wet + 2 customisable)
- 3 Power Modes
- ABS Cornering
- Ducati Traction Control (DTC) in Cornering
- Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC)
- Ducati Power Launch (DPL)

All controlled via backlit handlebars and a 6.9-inch TFT dashboard (8:3 ratio) with Bluetooth for calls, music, messages, and optional Turn-by-Turn navigation via Ducati Link App. The screen uses Optical Bonding for glare-free readability.
