Suzuki has just added the awesome looking Glass Blaze Orange colour option to the GSX-8R lineup in the UK market. While Suzuki’s global motorcycle page already lists Glass Blaze Orange as part of the official 2026 GSX-8R colour set, riders in India are unfortunately left waiting, as the country does not get this particular option just yet. This practical parallel-twin middleweight sportbike looks incredibly fresh and tangy in its new coat of paint. It seems Suzuki is tapping into the massive trend where the colour orange is becoming seriously popular across both the automotive industry and consumer electronics.

The Orange Trend and the Indian Market

As things stand, the Indian market does get the GSX-8R, but the manufacturer has left this striking new orange option off the local table for now. It is a bit of a shame really, especially when you consider the younger audience who love that flash colours. For a middleweight motorcycle, the GSX-8R genuinely looks fantastic in this new colourway.

Currently, India’s GSX-8R color options are limited to just three choices:

  • Metallic Triton Blue
  • Metallic Matt Sword Silver
  • Glass Sparkle Black

Same Solid Middleweight Performance Underneath

Aside from the fresh paint job, absolutely nothing else about the GSX-8R changes. The bike is still packed with its lively 776cc parallel-twin engine. It also keeps the full Suzuki Intelligent Ride System, which bundles in multiple riding modes, traction control, and a bi-directional quickshifter. Rounding out the tech package is a neat TFT display and full-LED lighting.

Because it is not as intimidating or as expensive as a full litre-class superbike, it hits a real sweet spot. It still looks serious enough to pull in riders who are moving up from smaller sportbikes or even street nakeds. A brighter orange finish would undoubtedly give the GSX-8R a much more extrovert identity on the road and help it stand out from the crowd. Fingers crossed Suzuki India hears the fans and brings it over soon!
