Ultraviolette has quietly expanded its line up by listing a brand-new entry-level variant of the X-47 Crossover on its official website. Simply dubbed the ‘X-47’, this fresh base model drops the entry price of the electric motorcycle range, making it a tempting choice for anyone looking to get their hands on this electric machine for a bit less cash.

The new Ultraviolette X-47 price is set at Rs. 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom). When compared directly to the X-47 Original variant, which sits at Rs. 2.64 lakh (ex-showroom), this new addition is a solid Rs. 15,000 more affordable.

What’s Missing on the Cheaper Ultraviolette X-47?

To achieve that lower price point, the manufacturer had to trim away some of the heavier tech. The major change here is that the new base variant completely misses out on the Ultraviolette Hypersense radar system.

For riders who opt for this version, skipping the Hypersense radar technology means waving goodbye to a few advanced rider aids, including:

  • Rear collision warnings
  • Lane change assist
  • Overtake alert
  • Blind-spot detection

Ultimately, this stripped-back version seems tailored for budget-conscious buyers, alongside enthusiasts who simply prefer a less feature-loaded package in exchange for a more old-school, pure riding experience.

The Updated X-47 Crossover Lineup and Prices

With the introduction of this new entry-level model, the total number of variants in the X-47 lineup now stands at six. The full ex-showroom price structure for the electric motorcycle range shapes up as follows:

VariantPrices (Ex-Showroom)
X-47 (New)Rs. 2.49 lakh
X-47 OriginalRs. 2.64 lakh
X-47 Original+Rs. 3.09 lakh
X-47 ReconRs. 3.59 lakh
X-47 Recon+Rs. 4.09 lakh
X-47 Desert WingRs. 4.59 lakh

Same Electric Performance Underneath

The good news for riders is that the new variant remains mechanically unchanged compared to its more expensive Original and Original+ siblings. The Recon, Recon+ and Desertwing variants offer higher torque and power along with better range along with other additional features.
