The much-anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 has been caught out in the wild again. This time around, the test mule was decked out with a few fancy touring-oriented accessories, giving us a proper glimpse of what’s in store for adventure fans.
Adventure-Ready Gear and Alloy Wheels
The latest sightings of the Himalayan 750 show a bike that’s looking closer and closer to being showroom-ready. While previous test mules from late last year featured crash protection and a saree guard, this new version was spotted sporting alloy wheels. It seems Royal Enfield is planning to give buyers the choice between classic spoked wheels and these more modern alloys.
A few more “off-road ready” bits were also visible on this latest bike, including:
- A protective headlight grille to keep the glass safe from flying stones.
- Sturdy hard panniers, which will likely be available in the official accessories catalogue.
A More Powerful 750cc Engine
Under the skin, the bike stays true to the concept we saw at EICMA 2025. It’s expected to use a beefed-up version of the famous 650cc platform, sticking with an air-oil-cooled architecture.
However, the extra displacement means a healthy jump in performance:
- Power Increase: Output is tipped to rise from the 48 HP found in the 650s to somewhere between 55–60hp.
- Brand Milestone: This would officially make it the most powerful engine Royal Enfield has ever produced.
When Can We Buy One, When is the Launch?
The wait shouldn’t be too much longer. Royal Enfield has confirmed that the final production version of the Himalayan 750 will be officially unveiled at EICMA 2026. If everything stays on track, the full market launch is expected to follow shortly after the big reveal.
