Renault India has just rolled out a fresh take on one of its most-loved SUVs. The carmaker has launched the Renault Duster Adventure Edition, a special version of the Duster built around the theme that’s long been tied to the nameplate in India — adventure. Prices for the new Duster Adventure Edition kick off at ₹12.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Why “Adventure”?
The Duster has built a reputation over the years for its ride quality, handling, and its knack for encouraging owners to go beyond their usual daily commute. Renault reckons “Adventure” is the most natural way to sum up everything the Duster nameplate has stood for in India, and that’s exactly the theme this new special edition leans into.
A Bastille Day Reveal
Fittingly, the Duster Adventure Edition was unveiled on Bastille Day, with H.E. Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India, and Stéphane Deblaise, CEO of Renault Group India, doing the honours. The launch brought together Renault’s French roots and one of its best-known products on Indian roads — a vehicle that was engineered in France but has earned its place with Indian customers through the experiences it delivers.
Speaking at the unveiling, Stéphane Deblaise said that iconic vehicles aren’t remembered just for what they do, but for the place they carve out in people’s lives — and that the Duster fits squarely into that category. Over the years, he added, the Duster has become part of countless journeys and lasting memories for customers right across India, and the Adventure Edition is Renault’s way of celebrating that ongoing bond people have with the nameplate.

What Makes the Adventure Edition Different
Visually, the Duster Adventure Edition gets a set of exterior touches designed to play up its adventure credentials. There are exclusive Adventure decals featuring topographical contour lines, along with the geographical coordinates of Leh (34.27 N, 77.60 E) — a nod to the tough terrain where the Duster has been tested over the years and the kind of journeys that shaped its reputation in the first place.
On top of the decals, the special edition also gets Adventure embellishers and premium Adventure floor mats to round off the styling changes.
