If you’ve been dreaming of adding some Austrian performance to your garage, you might need to dig a little deeper into your pockets. As of today, KTM India has officially updated its price list, and the news isn’t exactly easy on the wallet. Both the legendary “Scalpel” and the entry-level adventurer have seen their price tags climb, with one model seeing a particularly eye-watering jump.
The Big Sting: KTM 390 Duke Price Hiked by ₹40,000
The street-fighting champion of the sub-500cc world, the KTM 390 Duke, has just received a massive price increase. Fans of the “Naked” category will now have to shell out an additional ₹40,000 to bring this machine home.
This hike brings the new ex-showroom price of the 390 Duke to approximately ₹3.51 lakh. While it still offers class-leading tech like the 45 PS LC4c engine, cornering ABS, launch control, and fully adjustable suspension, this jump puts it into a much more premium price bracket than before. It seems the higher GST rate, rising costs of those high-end components and manufacturing have finally reached the showroom floor.

Exploring Costs More: 390 Adventure X Price Up by ₹17,000
It isn’t just the street bikes feeling the pinch; the off-road segment has been hit too. The KTM 390 Adventure X—the simplified version of the 390 Adventure designed to be more accessible—has seen a price hike of ₹17,000.
Previously favoured by riders who wanted the raw 373cc performance and long-travel suspension without the expensive electronics, the 390 Adventure X is now edging closer to the ₹3 lakh mark. Despite the increase, it remains a formidable tourer with its 19-inch front wheel and robust build, but it’s certainly a less “budget-friendly” entry point than it was last month.

Is the Performance Still Worth the Premium?
KTM has always positioned itself as the high-performance, premium choice for Indian riders. With these latest hikes, that “premium” tag is being felt more than ever. While the 390 Duke remains the absolute benchmark for power-to-weight ratio in its class, but a ₹40,000 jump is a significant hurdle for many enthusiasts.
